The Aftermath

The D-Day had arrived. 29 Jan 2014.

Actions started at about 5pm+, where Siew Mei and Derek were frontiers to visit a stranger friend aquainted recently.
Not sharing that acquaintance story here.

It's basically just having dinner with this lady Alice, who is wheelchair bound, and doesn't have anybody visit her most of the time.
Food was mostly prepared by Angie, pretty good.
Hope Alice was not overwhelmed by our noises in her home. LOL
Just a picture here to see, as the official photographer kept having problems with his camera, at least initially. :)

At 7.45pm, I think first person arrived at Wawawa. Chee Kong was probably the first one.
Then we made our way to Wawawa from Chai Chee.
3 cars were parked around the same place.
Siew Mei drove off. Abraham followed, and then Derek.
The first car took a left turn, then go straight with whatever the road leads to.
Second car followed. And so did Derek.
Alamak! Hit end of car park!
3 jokers have to go-stan and go back the other way!
That was funny. Hehehe.
And the best is, one of the drivers used to live in that vicinity! Shall refrain from namings. :)

So at Wawawa, people slowly started rolling in.
Sounds of "Who is this?", "Ho seh bo!?!", "Do you remember? ... ...", "You still look the same!" keeps rattling up when someone 'new' appear.
These are the 'new' old friends.

I think Wawawa might have regreted our reservations. Too much noise.

Looking at a group of 40+s, standing too long also cannot take it, squat a bit also tak boleh tahan, and mostly (not all) have grown horizontal in many ways, are simply divine to watch and listen to with the various conversations running left right centre.

The secret organisers (Deric / Cheng San / Boon Huat) also very sweetly prepared a present to the Champion of the gathering Siew Mei. I didn't see clearly what it is, but I think it is a mug, with the photo of the class taken back then.
Very nice of these people yeah?

When Siow Lin came, she brought a cake in. It's Siew Mei's birthday in another few days, so intention was to celebrate with her in advance.
How wonderful after so many years right?
And Siew Mei wished for all to gather each and every year on 4 Feb (as part of their class 4/2) from this year onwards!
Wow. May her wish come true, each and every year.

As time tickles through, people also started to take their leave.
The "Hi"s had left, the "Bye"s had come.
It's still a joyous occasion for meeting each and everyone of them.

I may not have listed each and every single name here in this entry, 'cause if I were to do that, I will probably take a few days to complete writing this.
I can be quite lor-soh at times.
Sorry for that.

I had been listening to a song lately. It's a song about beginning new adventure, akin to when you leave school for next advance learning or work.
Just find it is aptly to share with the people who were part of this gathering, and managed to read this somehow.
It was originally sung by 水木年华,which I like it a lot.
I prefer to listen to a 模仿 effort by this guy called 张议天, below video.
Till the next time
